Most people never take responsibility for what happens in their life. Most of us always ask the question:
“Why is this happening to me?”
And that is a question we should never ask.
The right question is:
“What does this event, this circumstance, reveal to me?”
People see themselves as victims of what is happening around them, and that is where everything gets stuck.
We are the creators of our circumstance. But most of us never see it that way, we believe things are happening to us, instead of from us, and we rather keep on blaming others…
This is hard to hear, and even harder to accept. But once we learn about this mechanism, about the law of revelation, we can evolve from being victims, to being creators of our own life. We have to get rid of the illusion of victimhood.
Learn the law of revelation.
Stop resenting what is revealed to you, and start studying it.
Most people want to change the image the mirror reflects, without changing the person standing before it. But a mirror simply reflects, it never lies. You need to change the creator of the image in the mirror in order to have a different reflection.
Start studying your life’s circumstances, see the reflection as a lesson and be grateful for the information it reveals.
If you want to see different circumstances, steer your mind towards thinking different thoughts**. Life is not happening to you; it comes from you. The circumstances emerge from you.
Once we finally realize how this mechanism works, we can create a new life, we can go from being a victim to being a master. The Universe gives us what we think about, gives us more of what is vibrating on our own frequency.
Never underestimate the force of your own causative power.
Reshape your reality by reshaping yourself.
This law of revelation is not about pointing a finger and making you feel guilty about your life. No. It just gives information. And it’s up to you to do something with it, or not.
James Allen* describes our mind as a garden and our thoughts as seeds.
We cannot harvest what we did not sow.
The soil does not judge, it just provides the circumstances for the seeds to grow.
It grows what we plant and nurture.
So, if you want roses, don’t sow seeds of thorns. And be aware that even if you sow consciously a few seeds of roses, but unconsciously you sow plenty of thorns, you won’t grow roses, but thorns.
This is the trap of positive thinking. Even if we think a few positive thoughts everyday day, but the rest of our day, we think negative thoughts, the end result will be what our negative thoughts were about. They will create our reality, despite the few positive thoughts we had. We water our own seeds, so be very conscious about what seeds you are sowing.
You cannot harvest what you do not plant enough of.
We are the gardener of our life.
Pain and suffering are not punishment, but guidance.
When we start listening to these messages, we will realize they are there to inform and redirect us.
As long as we do not listen, and understand, this information, it will continue to show up. Pain is the protector keeping us from further harm. We can only kill the fire alarm by putting out the fire.
Course redirection is delivered by discomfort. It will keep showing up until we redirect our thoughts, until the lesson is learned.
The Universe is talking to us. Listen to it. Transform your thought pattern.
The alarm will only stop once the fire is out.
Here is where our free will** comes in, we get to choose whether we listen to, and learn from, the message, or whether we refuse to learn from it. The Universe guides us, but will never force us.
Accept this internal responsibility.
Suffering is never meaningless. It stops when the lesson is learned.
Course correction is delivered through ‘bad luck’, through discomfort. This will keep showing up until we do something with it.
Always ask: what is this revealing to me?
The Universe is always talking to you.
Everything has a cure.
Suffering is never meaningless.
From the outside, it may often seem that bad things happen, even to good people. But is this true? Are they really good people?
We observe outward presentation, we see masks, we never know what the inner, most private, thoughts of others are. Surface behavior is not rewarded by the Universe. The Universe does not care about the masks people are wearing. The deeper consciousness always wins. It’s your internal state that determines whether you are a good person or not. Not your actions.
You cannot fool the law of revelation.
Different consciousnesses lead to different results.
That’s why 2 people doing the exact same thing, may lead to completely different results. The Universe is reading your frequency, this reveals who you really are and determines the outcome of your actions.
To have the reality that you want, you have to think, feel, believe and act in alignment.
Otherwise, we encounter struggles, ‘bad’ things will happen in our lives. But bad things are good things in disguise.
To be able to see this, you need ruthless self-honesty. It takes a lot of courage to look that deep into your soul. It takes admitting that you were wrong.
But don’t see this as defeat, it’s the beginning of creating, of mastering, your new life, the life you desire, the life that you really want.
Consciousness determines the result. So, you have to create the consciousness of the life you desire.
Stop fighting the reflection from the mirror, stop trying to wipe the mirror clean. The mirror only reflects, it never lies. It’s the face that creates the image in the mirror, that you need to change. The reflection will change once the face before it has changed.
Stop the fight with the world, the fight is only with your internal beliefs, with your own consciousness.
The law of revelation acts on what you actually think, acts on your actual consciousness.
Take the responsibility for your own life into your own hands. Don’t keep watering the weeds while complaining about the weeds being there.
It’s up to you, only you.
Decide what you want.
Think, believe and act in alignment with this desired life.
It’s your consciousness that will determine the result. Circumstance change because of your consciousness.
The Universe does not judge, it gives you more of who you are.
Shed the addictive comfort of blame.
Accept total responsibility.
Blame only protects your ego from confronting its own errors. It keeps you in your victimhood, it keeps you powerless.
Learn to be a master of your life. Pour all your energy in having the consciousness of the life you desire. Learn to live with the poise of the master, he’s not fighting the reflection, he is changing his face in the mirror. This means active transformation of the consciousness from the inside out, not merely passive accepting of the circumstances around you.
Train your inner calm so that you are unshaken by the outward chaos.
Every thought is a seed. The Universe gives you what you think about.
It takes vigilance to catch this unconscious thinking, but it is necessary as it results in your conscious world.
Cultivate new beliefs, believe your new beliefs to be true, because your feelings follow your beliefs.
Consciousness is the cause of your reality, circumstances are the result.
100% responsibility is the ONLY way to change your consciousness.
You are the cause and the cure.
The world is like water,
it takes the form of its container,
so be a beautiful container.
