Have you ever noticed that, the moment you stop stressing about something, the moment you stop fighting against a certain situation, the moment you stop resisting change, … things seem to become less stressful, less problematic, less frightening, …?
I’ve needed years and years to believe, and practice, this. And yes, I encounter the occasional slip up now and then. Nobody’s perfect, right? But you can trust me on this one: letting go of resistance, relaxing about a problematic issue, and focusing on ‘good outcomes’ are game changers.
We tend to put all of our focus on the problem, on the thing(s) we fear, on all the bad that can happen, … and that leaves no room to look for solutions, for a positive outcome.
It’s all about letting go of the belief that there is a problem that cannot be solved.
It’s all about letting go of the belief that our vision is the absolute truth.
It’s all about willing to find a solution to the problem.
It’s all about willing to come to an agreement, which is acceptable to everyone involved.
I love this saying of dr. Wayne W. Dyer:
“Believe it and you’ll see it.”
This is very important:
believe good is coming,
believe people are willing,
believe all will be okay.
The moment you let go of believing you are stuck, is the moment your resistance to getting unstuck, stops. The moment your resistance stops, is the moment you’ll start seeing solutions.
This change of belief, is a change of vibrational* frequency.
As long as you’re on this lower vibrational frequency, this frequency where problems reside, where ‘negative thinking’ resides, … you will never get to a solution because, the problem and the solution do not vibrate on the same frequency.
So, you need to actively change frequencies! It’s not something that happens automatically, no, it’s like you used to turn a button on the old radios to be able to hear another radio station. (And here you can guess my age :-). It’s not something that happened by itself, no, if you wanted to hear a different tune, you needed to get up, go to the radio and turn the button. The same goes for the tune in your life.
Whenever you are stuck, whenever there is a ‘situation you’re not happy with’, the first thing you need to do is say to yourself: “okay, this is not working, I need to deal with this.”
This will enable you to let go of your belief that it’s an impossible situation, of the belief that this is unsolvable.
You open yourself up to look for, and to find, answers.
You are able to let go of the belief that your way is the only way.
Yes, ego’s need to be put aside, there needs to be an openness, a willingness, a mutual intention to get out of that rut.
If you want something bad enough, you will find a way.
My invitation to you all this week is:
Whenever you feel unhappy about something, turn that button.
Say to yourself: I/we can solve this.
Take action to come to a mutual acceptable solution.
Believe in it.
Don’t keep on repeating what is not working, focus on finding what does work.
Let go of ‘your truth’ and know that more ‘truths’ exist. Because the longer you hold on to your truth, the longer you keep repeating your version to yourself and/or to others, the more your brain will believe this as being true, and the bigger the obstacles will become between the problem and working things out.
Have the courage to go onto that higher vibrational frequency.
Open your heart and your mind.
Enjoy the peace that will come over you.
