{"id":7193,"date":"2026-02-26T15:28:53","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T14:28:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/choose\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T15:28:53","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T14:28:53","slug":"choose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/fr\/choose\/","title":{"rendered":"Choose!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6694 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/energy-flows-300x263.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Far too often<\/span> I hear people saying: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u201cYeah, but what can I do, I have no choice.\u201d, \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And here is where I want you all to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">realize,<\/span> that <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">you do have a choice<\/span><\/strong>. I know it sounds easy, and I get a lot of push-back when I say this, but you do.<\/p>\n<p>Learning to make choices, is <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">training your mental muscles,<\/span> and that is exactly like training your physical muscles: when you want results, you have to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">train them every day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When you wake up in the morning, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">start by <strong>deciding<\/strong> how you want to feel today.<\/span> Do you think this is silly? Maybe, I don\u2019t care, it\u2019s the result that counts.<\/p>\n<p>When you start your day, saying:<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I want to feel good today.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I will not let circumstances get me down.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I feel strong enough to handle things.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Chances are, that you will be able to handle all that will be happening today.<\/p>\n<p>What I want to say is,<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> it\u2019s a choice.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And of course, I am not talking about you having to feel joyful when you receive life-altering news, or when you hear from a sudden death or so.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I am talking about handling life as we experience it day-in-day-out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Making the choice that you are in control of how you feel, puts you already on the vibrational frequency* of possibilities, of solutions, of answers. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">And hence you will find them.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Train your mind**<\/span> to not dwell on feeling sad, on feeling down, on feeling angry, \u2026 because once you stay too long on a low vibrational frequency, it\u2019s even harder to get off it. It becomes your way of being, it becomes your modus operandi, your habit, and old patterns are hard to change. But not impossible! <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">It\u2019s a choice to begin with, and then it\u2019s being consistent in changing your thoughts whenever you feel they are slipping towards negativity again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Recognize the thought***,<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">say to it,<\/span> \u201cthank you for showing up and for trying to protect me from harm, but that is not necessary anymore. I let you go.\u201d This is training your mental muscles. Again, you might think this feels a bit silly and you may not see how this can help you, but it does. Keep it up and you\u2019ll feel it getting easier and easier.<\/p>\n<p>Having a low moment is normal, we all have them. But the important thing is, not to stay there.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Don\u2019t push it away, but recognize it, and gently let it go.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Create your own life****<\/span><\/strong>, create how you want to feel, create what you want to do, create what you want to give and receive.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Be very clear on what you allow to enter into your life, and what you distance yourself from.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you feel you get easily overwhelmed by disaster, stop watching the news.<\/p>\n<p>If you feel you get easily absorbed in gossip, avoid people who gossip.<\/p>\n<p>If you feel you need silence, go into nature.<\/p>\n<p>If you feel people are often a bit too much for you, go and be with animals, take care of them, have pets, go for walks with dogs, \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">No matter who you are, no matter what you like, no matter what is weighing you down, there is always a possibility to create situations in which you can thrive.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">You have to do the work.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">You have to make the decision.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">You have to make the choice. \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do you have to walk your path alone?<\/p>\n<p>No, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">you\u2019ll find like-minded souls along the way. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s you who has to make the decision which path you want to walk, meaning, how you want to live your life.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">You can do it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Step by step.<\/p>\n<p>Decide you want to feel good.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Take action<\/span>, because action is worry\u2019s worst enemy.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t have to know exactly where you\u2019re going, as long as it\u2019s forward. The longer you are walking, the easier the steps will start to feel.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">You\u2019ll start to feel support*** from unexpected places, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">suddenly you will be \u2018lucky\u2019, <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">good things will start happening to you.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And all of this will make it easier, and you\u2019ll feel a shift in your life, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">you\u2019ll feel a shift in how you feel,<\/span> you\u2019ll start to feel stronger, less dependent on how others live their lives.
