Wayne W. Dyer, and he was talking about the last minutes before you fall asleep.<\/p>\n<p>I have been writing about having an evening ritual*, but this goes beyond that ritual.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s about the moments after you\u2019ve been going through the whole ritual, it\u2019s about the moments you feel yourself dozing off, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">it&#8217;s about the moments when you feel yourself in that slumber state between being awake and being asleep.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That is the moment <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>your subconscious mind is very susceptible to suggestions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">train yourself** to feed your mind,<\/span><\/strong> in those moments, nothing but <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">positive thoughts, gratitude, and love<\/span><\/strong>, these thoughts will be present in your subconscious mind the whole night.<br \/>\nAnd then <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">when you wake up in the morning,<\/span><\/strong> you will have a positive mindset, a welcome-the-day attitude <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">full of love and gratitude.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And that is the whole idea, it\u2019s about making sure you are ready to face the day with a positive attitude.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">When you start your day in that mindset,<\/span><\/strong> you will be able to keep this positive attitude rather easily, as you always attract*** what you radiate. No matter what happens, as you\u2019re functioning on a higher vibrational frequency, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">you\u2019ll see solutions<\/span><\/strong>, rather than problems, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">you\u2019ll see people<\/span><\/strong> instead of enemies, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">you\u2019ll feel compassion<\/span><\/strong> instead of irritation. That is why it is so important to train yourself in steering your mind, and especially once more, before you doze off.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of going over the day, as a last thing before you go to sleep, where you rehash all that went bad, all the stress that you felt, all the hardship that you encountered that day, \u2026<strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">steer your mind away from all that anger and negativity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Go to your happy place,<\/span><\/strong> go to where you think happy thoughts, where you feel gratitude, and where you can see all the beauty there is in your life.<\/p>\n<p>People underestimate big time:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">the power you have over how you feel,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">the possibility of training your mental muscles**<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">the effect negative thinking has on your daily life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes, shit happens.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, other people can be very annoying.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, we can have health issues.<\/p>\n<p>But <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">how you feel<\/span><\/strong> about it, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">how you react<\/span><\/strong> to all of this, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">is UP TO YOU.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As dr. Wayne W. Dyer always said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>\u00a0\u201cThere will always be pain in your life, <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>but the amount of suffering is up to you.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The first time I heard him say this, I thought, wow, this is harsh. But let it sink in for a moment. He\u2019s not saying there is no pain. He\u2019s just pointing out that we have a lot of influence on how much we let ourselves suffer in life.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">The more we despair, the more we complain, the more we lament on all of our \u2018bad luck\u2019, the heavier it will all feel.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The better you train yourself in thinking in a loving way, in seeing the good stuff, in believing there is always a solution, the easier it will become to deal with all the \u2018problems\u2019 we encounter.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Dozing off with a mind full of love, full of gratitude, is how you can take a head start on how you will be feeling the next the day.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will not only sleep better, which of course, will result in you feeling a whole lot better when you wake up, but, you will be also be all set to face all that will be coming your way during the day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">The more you train yourself to<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">stay positive,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">stay calm,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">look at things from an angle of possibilities,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">the better you\u2019ll get at coping with life.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Life isn\u2019t always a walk in the park, I know, but facing things from a place of love, will make all the difference in the world in how you feel about it, and that is why you should train yourself to fall asleep with a mind full of positivity.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you all for reading me, and for supporting me on Medium.
