{"id":6492,"date":"2023-12-13T16:20:18","date_gmt":"2023-12-13T15:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/acceptance-is-the-key-to-moving-forward\/"},"modified":"2023-12-13T16:20:18","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T15:20:18","slug":"acceptance-is-the-key-to-moving-forward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/en\/acceptance-is-the-key-to-moving-forward\/","title":{"rendered":"Acceptance Is the Key to Moving Forward."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6485 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/acceptance-300x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"411\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/acceptance-300x300.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/acceptance-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/acceptance-100x100.jpeg 100w, https:\/\/lifecoachwomen.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/acceptance.jpeg 474w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 411px) 100vw, 411px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When I was listening to Annemaree Rowley\u2019s Meditation \u2018Acceptance\u2019, it was a great reminder that accepting where you are in life, accepting what is happening in your life, <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>accepting what is, is the ONLY way to move forward in life. <\/strong><\/span>As long as you don\u2019t accept what is happening or has happened, you can\u2019t start dealing with it. Accepting doesn\u2019t mean being a fatalist, nor being a doormat, or whatever. No, accepting means, saying to yourself: \u2018this is what is going on, I recognize that this is happening right here in my life, this is a fact, I accept this reality and now I can start dealing with it.\u2019 This step of acceptance is necessary to move to a higher vibrational frequency because you will never find the answer on the same frequency as the problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong><em>You can never heal in the environment that made you sick.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Whenever you feel you are struggling with something, or that you are stuck, you first of all, need to accept that you are struggling, accept that you are stuck. And then you need to start making changes, you need to start taking steps towards making things better.<\/p>\n<p>As I\u2019ve said before, the solution never vibrates* on the same frequency as the problem, so you now know you <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>actively <\/em><\/span>have to do something to get out of the rut you\u2019re stuck in right now. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">You have to change the environment that makes you sick.<\/span> That \u2018environment\u2019 can be <em><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">an actual place <\/span>surrounding you, <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">certain people in your life<\/span><\/em> or it can be <em>the environment of <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">your thoughts<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">.<\/span> Let me explain.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>When the outer environment is overwhelming,<\/strong> <strong>and making you feel stressful<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>you need to tackle this outer place. You need to <em>start getting rid of stuff<\/em>, you need to start decluttering. You literally have to <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>create more space** around you<\/em>,<\/span> in order to feel less overwhelmed. Once there is less stuff, you\u2019ll feel calmer, you\u2019ll feel more in control. Less stuff means less work, less to-do\u2019s, less responsibilities, less stress. Once you get more used to living with less, you\u2019ll also notice you are more content. You start feeling more satisfied with what you have and you won\u2019t be searching for more all the time anymore. You now realize you have more than enough, and this feeling of gratitude is the best recipe to feel happy in life. You\u2019ll see beyond material stuff, you\u2019ll look for what really matters in life, you\u2019ll start living a more authentic life, a life in which you can be who you truly are. That is so liberating as there is no more pretending, no more faking, no more trying to be the best. You can be you, just you, the complete and wholly you.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">When it\u2019s people in your environment that are making you sick<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>let them go. You don\u2019t need to fight, you don\u2019t need to be harsh, you just have to <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>take an emotional step back<\/em><\/span>. Whenever possible, let them go out of your life so that your environment is not toxic for you anymore. When that is not possible, <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">accept<\/span> that they are in your life, don\u2019t fight them but you need to <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>set boundaries<\/em><\/span>. You need to let them know what is acceptable and what is not. That way, you make changes in your environment, you move to a higher vibrational frequency and you can start healing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>When the environment of your thoughts is what is making you sick:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>then you need to tackle this \u2018place\u2019 as you can never heal in a mind full of darkness and negativity. Not only the outer world can make you sick, even in an outwardly good environment one can get lost in the darkness inside oneself. When we dwell on negative things that have happened, when we replay harsh words over and over again, when we are determined to see the bad in everyone and everything, we will never heal<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">. <em>We need to clear our minds of all these cobwebs<\/em>.<\/span> No matter what happened to us, WE are responsible for how we deal with it. If you want to heal, you first need to <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">accept<\/span> that those dark thoughts are in your mind, <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">then you say to yourself<\/span> \u2018I don\u2019t need those thoughts anymore, they are not helping me in any way.\u2019 Then start looking at, and <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">learn<\/span>***, how your thoughts are defining your emotions. Once you start practicing steering your thoughts**** towards how you want to feel, you\u2019ll notice that <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">you can heal yourself by not letting your mind dictate how you should think and feel<\/span>. This is not \u2018putting your head in the sand\u2019, this is deciding you have suffered enough, and that now, it is time to move forward. You acknowledge how you felt and maybe are still feeling for the moment, then you decide that it\u2019s enough, you\u2019re done with feeling low, sad and overwhelmed, and you decide that now, you are ready to move on. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>The more you let go of old negativity, the more room there will be for new and positive thoughts.<\/em> <\/span>These thoughts will make you feel better. The better you feel, the easier it will be to think in a positive way. Your mind will have become a new \u2018environment\u2019, a place where you can heal.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Whatever the circumstances are that make you feel sick, accept that they are here and then decide to change them in order to start your healing journey.<\/strong><\/span> The fact that you now realize and accept that it\u2019s the \u2018environment\u2019 that is making you ill, is already the first step towards your healing process. You now know what causes it, you accept it and you are on your way to searching and finding solutions on this different frequency you\u2019re now on. You have now started your path towards healing. It\u2019s never an easy path, so take it one step at a time. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Every step is progress no matter how small<\/strong>.<\/span> You can do it!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you all for reading me and for supporting me on Medium!
